Fingal Hotel Booking Terms and Conditions
By making a reservation at Fingal Hotel, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making your reservation.
1. Making a booking
We will issue you with a confirmation number when a booking has been made. The confirmation number is proof that we have accepted your booking. No booking shall be binding until we issue you with a confirmation number.
You are responsible for ensuring that each person who stays at the hotel under your booking, even if you make a booking for someone else’s benefit and don’t stay yourself, complies with these terms.
2. Children’s Policy
Children under the age of 5 can stay free of charge in the same cabin as their parents/guardians. A cot can be provided for babies at no extra charge, older children would share the bed with their parents.
Children from aged 6-11 years old are welcome to stay in the same cabin as their parents and a £50 supplement is applicable. We cannot provide any extra beds for any of our cabins; therefore, any children would be expected to share the bed with their parents. An additional charge of £50 per child will be applied to the booking to cover the cost of additional linen and breakfast.
For children aged 12-15 or for multiple children, we would recommend booking two of our Classic Cabins which can be interconnecting. Children aged 16+ can stay in a cabin on their own.
3. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in Time: After 3:00 PM on day of arrival
Check-out Time: Before 12:00 NOON on day of departure
Please note that early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Guarantee Policy
Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. The full payment for your stay is due upon arrival at the hotel.
Pre-paid booking policy - Full prepayment at time of booking - non refundable - non transferable.
5. Long Stay Policy
Your reservation will be considered a long stay if your booking is for more than 3 consecutive nights. A deposit of the 1st night stay is applicable and will be charged to the card given at time of booking within 24-hours. This deposit is deducted from the total cost of stay upon check-in.
6. Group Bookings
Any bookings for 3 cabins or more constituents a Group Booking. A deposit of 25% of the full accommodation costs must be paid at the time of booking with the remaining balance paid 60 days prior to the date of stay.
7. Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is free of charge if completed by 10am local time, 3 days prior to arrival. After this deadline a cancellation fee of the full stay is charged. No-show charge is 100% of the full stay including VAT. Bookings of 5 or more cabins will trigger our group cancellation policy.
Bookings arriving from 1 May 2025 - 30 September 2025 may be cancelled free of charge up to 10am local time 5 days prior to arrival. After this a cancellation fee of the full stay is charged. No-show charge is 100% of the full stay including VAT.
A valid credit card must be provided to guarantee the reservation at time of booking.
Non-refundable booking rate.
100% payment including VAT for accommodation will be taken at time of booking. This is non-refundable and no date changes are accepted.
Group Booking and Long Stay Cancellations
The Company reserves the right to raise the following charges in the case of any cancellation which must be made in writing to the Reservations & Hospitality Team:
- Up until 90 days prior to the arrival date, reservations may be amended or cancelled without charge with any deposits held refunded.
- Cancellation within 61-90 days of arrival: 25% of all costs will be payable
- Cancellation within 60-31 days of arrival: 75% of all costs will be payable
- Cancellation within 30 days of arrival: 100% of all costs will be payable
It is the responsibility of the guests to cover any and all third party bank charges incurred by the hotel.
8. Reservation Modifications
Any changes to your reservation, including changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type, are subject to availability and may result in additional charges. Please contact our reservations department to request any modifications.
9. No-Show Policy
In the event that you do not check-in on your scheduled arrival date and have not cancelled your reservation in accordance with the cancellation policy, you will be charged for the 1st night of your stay.
10. Room Rates
Room rates are quoted in the local currency and are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Rates may vary based on the time of booking, the length of stay, and the type of room reserved.
11. Special Requests
We will make every effort to accommodate special requests, such as bed type or room location, but these requests cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.
12. Liability
Fingal is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safes provided for valuables.
